Daily Behavioral Health values our therapeutic relationships and want to continue to provide services to our families who require treatment due to medical necessity. At this time, we ask that families who feel therapy is not a medical necessity, to postpone therapy sessions to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Given therapy is a medical necessity for many of our clients, we have several options to continue treatment. Our office will remain open and for those clients who require face-to-face treatment, we ask that you follow these guidelines:
At this time, telepsychology is also an option for those clients who are required to stay at home or feel more comfortable staying at home. Insurance is now mandated to cover this service during time to increase social distancing.
Please know our staff are also following similar guidelines. Daily Behavioral Health is taking extra precautions in hand washing, disinfecting/sanitizing furniture, doorknobs, desks, chairs, and so forth. We desire to provide a safe environment for all who enter our building.
If you are receiving home-based therapy, we ask that you provide daily communication with our staff to ensure that no one in your home has either been exposed to respiratory/fever symptoms or is experiencing any of these symptoms. We would ask that you disinfect/sanitize the therapy area and have the child wash his or her hands upon our arrival. Also, please provide our therapist with soap and paper towel to allow us to properly wash our hands upon arrival and when we exit.
If at any time, you or your therapist feel uncomfortable in providing in-person therapeutic services, Daily Behavioral Health supports the need to transition to tele-therapy or postpone treatment temporarily until further notice.
